Calling All Potential Catechists

We are currently several catechists short for our Children’s Faith Formation program scheduled to start later this month. There is no experience required for this role and all materials are provided; however, VIRTUS (safe environment) training and a background check are required. If you have one or more children registered in our program, Deut 6:6-7 and Eph 6:4 both point to the parents’ responsibilities in helping their children grow in the faith – we’d love to have more parents involved in our program, but you don’t have to be a parent to get involved. If you are interested, if you think you might be interested, or even if you’d just like to learn more about helping to form our children in our shared faith, please contact our Director of Religious Education, Erin Spicer, and DRESpicer@stclareclifton.org, or call the office at 703.266.1310, and we will pass the message.
