For 2021, it is estimated that almost 300,000 people, including over 77,000 children, within the Diocese of Arlington did not have enough to eat.
The St. Clare of Assisi Council of the Knights of Columbus partners with the St. Lucy Food Project, a Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington program to feed the hungry, by holding a Monthly Food Drives on the 3rd weekend of each month. Please grab a blue bag from the vestibule and return it with non-perishable food items either prior to or on the 3rd weekend of the month. Didn’t pick up a blue bag ? That’s ok; it’s the food items that count. Feeding the Hungry, Nourishing the Soul.

Who We Are: The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization dedicated to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Our goal is to help men, their families and their parishes live and spread the Catholic faith.
The St. Clare of Assisi Council works closely with our Parish in Clifton. We provide funds for various projects, our members are active participants in the parish, and we take pride in serving our brothers in Christ. Click HERE to learn more about what we do to support St. Clare's.
We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month in the church basement. Our meetings begin with a communal praying of the Rosary at 7:15 pm, followed by the business meeting at 7:30. Following the meeting, we enjoy dinner, provided by one of our brother Knights.
If you would like to become part of our fraternal community, please call us at 540.251.2180 and leave a message with your name, your interest in joining, and a good way to get in touch via phone and/or email.
